At FactuSync we want to be transparent: we believe Verifactu, as it was designed, will never be implemented. It is an opinion, not a certainty, but it is based on what we have experienced from inside the industry.
Legal uncertainty, the real problem
A system of this scale needs stable rules. What we have seen is:
- Deadlines that keep moving every few months, sometimes with very little notice.
- Technical requirements that change or are interpreted differently depending on the source.
- Software companies forced to develop against a specification that might never become final.
- Confused users, not knowing whether to adapt now or wait.
This lack of legal certainty on the part of the State has had a real cost: it has pushed us, and a large part of the industry, to focus effort and resources on the wrong technology while the calendar kept shifting beneath our feet. Development time that could have gone into improving the product for customers was spent chasing a moving rule.
We are not saying that invoice traceability is a bad idea. We are saying that the way it has been executed has been so unstable that it is hard to trust it will ever land.
Our answer: stop waiting and start building
We are not going to keep waiting on the Official State Gazette. We have decided to build a product that delivers value to your business regardless of what the regulations decide. The result is FactuSync v6.6.1.

🔗 Our hash chain technology, independent of Verifactu
One of the good ideas in Verifactu is the integrity of the invoice sequence: each record is chained to the previous one and cannot be altered without it being noticed. There is no need to wait for any legal obligation to offer that guarantee.
FactuSync includes its own advanced invoice hash chain technology, independent of Verifactu. Each invoice is cryptographically linked to the previous one, so any later modification is detectable. 💳 Stripe integration
We have added recent integrations with Stripe, to connect your payments with your invoicing and reduce manual work between a payment received and the corresponding invoice.
And now, the POS: introducing the AI Waiter Agent
Besides invoicing software, we keep betting strongly on our POS solutions for hospitality and retail.
We have developed a prototype of an AI-powered Waiter Agent and we will start commercializing it next week. The idea is for AI to help with daily service: taking orders, speeding up attention and taking operational load off staff so they can focus on what matters, the customer.
